It can remotely control PolyWorks on a remote desktop. PolyWorks Talisman is a free mobile app (Android and iOS) for PolyWorks users. PolyWorks Modeler does three types of modeling: polygonal modeling (meshing) surface modeling (fitting a network of NURBS surfaces over a polygonal model) and solid modeling (transferring geometric entities to a feature-based CAD format). The gathered geometry then becomes a starting point for further modeling. PolyWorks Modeler creates reverse engineering models by extracting CAD entities (curves, surfaces, parametric sketches, and prismatic features) from polygonal models of digitized parts. PolyWorks Inspector features real-time quality meshing, which transforms laser scans into polygonal models. Use it to control tool or part dimensions, diagnose or prevent manufacturing and assembly issues, guide assembly through use of real-time measurements, and oversee quality control by using point cloud 3D scanners or single-point contact-based probes. PolyWorks Inspector is a full-featured 3D metrology toolbox. The PolyWorks portfolio has four products, each designed to complement the others. Such flexibility allows PolyWorks users to develop and deploy customized automated inspection processes such as guided operator-driven workflows for shop floor operations.
